The WekaIO Matrix is a Scale-out File System that is targeted for multiple uses beyond the typical high performance computing environment where most Scale-out File Systems have been deployed previously. Competitive products in the Scale-out File System area include IBM Spectrum Scale (GPFS) and Lustre, both with thirty year old designs in widespread used in HPC environments.
