Lenovo Converged HX – Product Brief

The Lenovo Converged HX Series are hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) appliances that run the Nutanix Acropolis software on Lenovo System x servers. Each scale-out cluster is comprised of a minimum of three nodes and has no specified maximum. Hypervisor options include VMware, Hyper-V or Nutanix’s KVM-based AHV hypervisor.
Lenovo HX Series appliances come in 1U or 2U form factors, with either 1 or 4 nodes per chassis. There are a wide range of models (16 total configurations) with up to 56 cores per node and capacities of 60TB HDD in hybrid and 61TB in all-flash. Lenovo also offers a storage-heavy model and one designed as a replication target.
