Evaluator Group assessed Quantum’s DXi6000 data deduplicating backup appliances in November and December 2010. The evaluation was both qualitative and quantitative; evaluating the usability of the system along with measurable performance oriented testing. Quantum’s DXi6000 products include the DXi6700 VTL along with five DXi6500 NAS systems. The systems were evaluated for read and write performance, along with testing functionality and usability.
