The HNAS 3200 has been withdrawn from sales as of July 2013.
The Hitachi Network Attached Storage (HNAS) 3200 system is the flagship storage system offering from Hitachi Data Systems based on the acquisition of BlueArch. The 3200 was originally known as the BlueArc Titan and covers the high-performance, data intensive markets with a system that scales to 16PB of storage capacity and provides advanced features and functionality. Hitachi addresses the lower market segments with its HNAS 30×0 series of products and the unified product needs with HUS and HUSVM.
HDS (BlueArc) has been a pioneer in bringing a custom-designed hardware platform NAS product into general usage for Information Technology. In addition, Hitachi also markets the HNAS 3200 series into high performance computing environments and in the digital video space. The unique implementation coupled with the additional features has allowed BlueArc to successfully address multiple usages in differing market segments.
