Full Summary:

March 2011 update includes coverage on HP BladeCenter and HP CloudSystem: The HP 3PAR array product line is a high end (T-Class) to mid-range (F-Class), modular, virtualized storage system. All models run 3PAR’s InForm operating system and additional add-on software modules.  The high end T-Class includes the T400 and T800 models, which compete against the low-midrange EMC V-Max models and the high-end EMC Clariion models, HDS USP-VM and derivatives, and the IBM DS8100 and XIV arrays.
The F-Class includes the F200 and F400 models and competes with a wider range of modular arrays that includes Compellent Storage Centers, EMC Clariion, HP EVA, NetApp FAS, and others.  For InServ features expressed in software, see Evaluator Groups 3PAR InForm Product Analysis.
  • Product Analysis includes:
  • Overview with discussion of traditional versus 3Par architecture
