Our board of directors provides guidance and leadership through their extensive experience, wide range of skills and contacts. The board consists of recognized industry veterans and leaders who guide Evaluator Group and oversee their corporate plans and strategy.

 Camberley Bates / Evaluator Group


Camberley is the Managing Director at  Evaluator Group. She brings over 20 years of sales and marketing experience as a former executive with VERITAS, GE Access and EDS as well as mid size companies – COPAN (acq. by SGI), CustomerInsight (acq by MetroMail) and FalconStor.

Most recently, she led her own consulting firm, Bates Strategy Group serving the Global 250 and startups with go-to-market strategies. She has held positions with VERITAS (acq. by Symantec) as Vice President  Marketing for WW Field, Channel and Alliances and VP of Enterprise Solution a $500MM division at  GE Access (acq by Avnet).

She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in International Marketing from CSU-LB and executive certificates from Wellesley and Wharton School of Business.

Randy Kerns – Senior Strategist / Evaluator Group


Randy Kerns is a Senior Strategist at Evaluator Group . In his role, Randy drives the company’s strategic direction for products and technology. Randy has also spend many years in executive level product planning and design positions.

Mr. Kerns is a respected storage technology strategist with more than 30 years of computer industry experience. Prior to ProStor Systems, Randy served as an industry analyst covering data storage, including SAN and NAS analysis for Evaluator Group. His experience includes executive and management positions with Sun Microsystems, IBM, StorageTek, Fujitsu and Tandem Computers.

Randy is the author of Planning a Storage Strategy, a book that provides step-by-step guidance on how to build an information storage strategy as part of a larger business process.

Donald Miller – President / CEO Cheetah International


Don has more than a quarter century of experience developing, managing, marketing and delivering software and service solutions to a variety of markets.

His background includes a decade of architecting, writing and testing software packages in a variety of environments, including enhancing Microsoft’s Local Area Network Manager for Western Digital. Following his stint as a software developer, he served in various project management and marketing management capacities for Storage Technology Corporation.

Don Miller holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Data Processing from Central Missouri State University (1981) and a M.B.A. with a focus of Finance, Accounting and International Business from Regis University (1995).

John “Jack” Scott – Co-Founder Evaluator Group


Jack has a storied career in the computer industry with positions with the industries pioneers in storage. These firms include IBM, Memorex and Storage Technology Corporation where he contributed in senior management marketing, sales and product management positions. In addition he has been a consultant focusing on marketing high technology products. Jack’s expertise spans storage hardware and software technology.

Jack was responsible for the definition and introduction of the industry firsts for IBM including both disk, tape and hierarchial storage systems. Additionally, Jack was responsible for the first buffered disk subsystems at StorageTek, the first solid state disk channel attached to mainframe systems and other first. Jack has provided direction of many successful products to top level management teams.

Jack Scott is a frequent industry speaker, author of a number of articles and white papers on electronic storage and management of electronic records, and member of the Emerging Technology Advisory Group (EMTAG) and Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM).

Jack is also the Chairman for the Denver chapter of SCORE, leading 100 volunteer members in conducting over 20 different business related seminars, as well as providing free counseling service for entrepreneurs and small business owners. In the last fiscal year alone, Denver SCORE provided over 4,000 counseling sessions.
